The Underworld

When you’re stuck with writing, do a meme! Anyways, I’ve always wanted to do one of the iTunes memes floating around so I randomly searched for one and here it is! Interesting fact: I found the meme on Sarah Ockler’s blog. That reminds me: I need to put Fixing Delilah in my to-be-read shelf on Goodreads. The cover looks interesting and bloggers have been raving about it (and yes, I so judge a book by its cover).

What does your music say about you?

  1. Put your iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. on shuffle.
  2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer.
  3. You must write that song name down no matter how silly it sounds.
  4. Title this post what the answer to your last question is.

If someone says, “Is this okay?” you say:

Run — Benton Paul. I suppose that’s appropriate depending on the situation?

How would you describe yourself?

I’m in Love with my Car — Queen. I know next to nothing about cars. Honestly, I’m lucky to even know the make and model, so this is far from the truth. Very far. Interesting song though.

What do you like in a guy/girl?

According to You — Orianthi. That’s right, you’re going to tell me what I like in a guy/girl. And that’ll be my answer, according to you.

How do you feel today?

Bicycle Race — Queen. This makes no sense whatsoever. But I did talk about bicycling the other day! And the bicycle bells in the middle of the song: genius.

What is your life’s purpose?

The Chill of an Early Fall — George Strait. My life’s purpose is fulfilled every other year.

What do your parents think of you?

Headstrong — Trapt. Headstrong as in stubborn? Check! But if we dive into the lyrics, I really hope not…

What do you often think of?

I’m Just a Kid — Simple Plan. It’s been a while since I listened to this song. I think a lot of people have the same thoughts as the lyrics at one point in their life, especially in their tween/teen years when hormones are starting to take over. Who hasn’t thought that nobody cares and the world is having more fun than you tonight?

What do you think of the person you like?

Finale Ultimo (Don’t Feed the Plants) — Little Shop of Horrors New Broadway Cast Soundtrack. Interesting… Well I hope nobody feeds blood thirsty plants. Wouldn’t that be terrible if the world was taken over by an alien blood thirsty plant?

What is your life story?

I’ll be There — S Club 7. I’m here to bring back memories for my generation! This doesn’t apply to my life story though. Sorry iTunes.

What do you think when you see the person you like?

Mazurka #16 in A flat, Op. 24/3 — Chopin. It’s this pleasant piece of instrumental that I think would work well as background music for that kind of situation.

What song did/will you dance to at your wedding?

Poor Unfortunate Souls — Jonas Brothers. This cover is so catchy! It’s just as good as the original from the movie, though it’s not very romantic for a wedding song, is it? Or is it saying that we’re the unfortunate souls? Taking the current statistics of marriage in mind, perhaps that would be appropriate for a wedding.

What will they play at your funeral?

Sunlight Sifting Down Through the Trees (Interlude) — Emai Music Orchestra (Fruits Basket: Four Seasons). This is kind of appropriate. It’s a sweet melody of music that would be nice to play during a slideshow of my life or something. It’s kind of uplifting, but at the same time melancholy. Fruits Basket is that kind of show anyway: uplifting, yet melancholic. Such a wonderful manga. Kind of makes me want to re-read it.

What is your biggest fear?

Around My Head — Cage the Elephant. Um, no. Actually spiders are my biggest fear. Then needles and heights.

What do you think of your friends?

Can’t Help Falling in Love — Elvis Presley. Sorry guys. I’ve never fallen in love with any of you. But Elvis is awesome.

What are you going to name this post?

The Underworld — Kingdom Hearts II OST. My god. I thought I was going to make it through this without making myself look too neeky, but here it is. Music from a game soundtrack. But I can’t help it. Square Enix + Disney magic? How could I not play it and fall in love with the music?
