My Workspace

Sheenah Archive, Snapshot Thursday 1 Comment

Welcome to Snapshot Thursday! This Thursday I’ve concocted something special. Partly because I got a new PC, partly because I want to try out the new Jetpack gallery feature, and partly because July 23 marked my first official anniversary at being an indie author. If you want to be technical, my first foray into self publishing was back in November 2010, but I don’t really count that because 1) I had no idea what I was doing 2) The moment I joined Red Willow Digital Publishing was the time when I got really serious about everything and finally 3) The Chosen was finally edited with a shiny, new cover and felt like a real book for the first time.

Since I missed my first anniversary, I’ll be dedicating the rest of the week with coming up with something nice for you, my favorite readers.

Click on the images and it should enlarge and give you a description of each image. And I believe you’ll be able to leave a comment on each individual image if you want! I think it’s a pretty neat feature and I know I’ll be using it more often in the future.

In case you’re wondering, this is my current wallpaper:

Yes, I know my trees fail, but hey! I drew a dragon and that’s something that doesn’t happen everyday! But if you want to see real art, I’d advise checking out Cherriuki’s art. She’s strictly a traditional artist and she’s quite amazing. I still can’t believe she drew Kaia for me~!

  1. Sheena,

You’re so weird. But I mean that in the good sense of the word. The way I see it, an author has to be slightly off-kilter to be able to get inside other people’s heads, you know?

I love your workspace! Thanks for sharing. Sorry I haven’t been by in a while – miss you.

LOL. I’ve always been a bit off-kilter. I don’t know if being eccentric helps me get inside of other people’s heads better or not, but we’ll go with that explanation.

You’re not the one who should be apologizing! I should apologize for not visiting your blog. I’ve been meaning to do that, but I keep pushing blog hopping away. I really need to fix that. Maybe if I tell myself it’s the A-Z Challenge again I’ll get motivated to do it. But thanks for visiting~! It’s always a pleasure to see ya. 🙂
