New Anthology Work

Twist of FateBetween writing novels and wearing my publisher hat, I’ve been scurrying away doing some short story work for a couple of anthologies. I’m happy to announce that my first anthology work of the year is now out! Thanks to fellow indie author Lisa Williamson, I have joined a group of authors called Indies in Action, which is led by Stephen L. Wilson. They’re a terrific group of authors who come together and put together anthologies to help raise money for certain charities. Their first anthology was Angels Cried which helps benefit the families affected by the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newton, CT.

This time the group put together an anthology that benefits the victims of the May tornadoes that ravished Oklahoma, mostly those from Moore, OK. I was lucky enough to have my short story accepted by this talented group of writers. The pieces in the anthology range from poetry to short stories, from somber to uplifting, from tales of nature’s fury to tales of nature’s wonder. Throughout the anthology are also photographs that were contributed from talented photographers to tie with some of the stories and poems found within.

I’m really proud of what the group has accomplished and look forward to working with them on future anthologies.

All proceeds of A Twist of Fate go to the May Tornadoes Relief Fund, managed by the United Way.

Currently, the anthology is available at Amazon in paperback and ebook. You can also grab an ebook copy at Smashwords and Barnes and Noble. It’ll be available at other retailers in the upcoming weeks. I’ll keep you posted!
