This was a fun and challenging cover. I wasn’t sure how to convey productivity and lazy people in the same cover and I was struggling to even come up with a concept, but then I came across an interesting stock photo and sent the idea the author’s way. He liked it overall, but wanted me to replace the hands (originally female hands painting her nails) with something different. So I Photoshopped in different hands and even went so far as to re-create a text message series to put on the phone screen.
